The Leongatha RSL is excited to bring a Shane Warne Legacy Health Check Machine to our venue between May 6th - 19th, 2025.

Our very own General Manager Greg Nugent had his own health scare late in 2024 that resulted in him having triple bypass surgery, a lengthy stay in hospital, and a long road to recovery. During his time away Greg got to thinking about how we could educate members of our community about the importance of Cardiometabolic Health. the benefits of regular health checks and the challenges facing many of those community members in accessing these freee health checks being from a regional area.

After seeing the Shane Warne Legacy Heart Health Check machines at the Cricket in December the idea to bring one of these stations to our venue to benefit our community was born.

This fantastic initiative is being provided by the Leongatha RSL and is free of charge to all members of our community.
Bookings are not required - however please be prepared to wait patiently if other guests have arrived before you. Only taking approximately 4 minutes to complete the test means any wait times should be minimal.
You are more than welcome to purchase coffee, drinks or food while you wait, or even better why not book for lunch or dinner and get yourself a free Heart Health Check at the same time!

The Shane Warne Legacy Heart Health Check machine will be available during regular opening hours of the Leongatha RSL.
